Michael Charalambous TEP
Michael Charalambous joined IBB in August 2018 and is a Senior Associate based in the Wills, Trusts and Probate Team. Michael handles a full range of private client matters including:
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Probate and the administrations of estates
- Court of Protection
- Inheritance tax advice
- Wills for estate planning purposes
Michael joined IBB having gained experience working on complex and high-value estates with a value more than £1,000,000. He also gained experience dealing with overseas assets and estates where the deceased was a non-UK domiciliary. Michael’s work includes, the drafting of Wills including a variety of trusts, the administration of complex and high value estates, and establishing and administering trusts (including discretionary, charitable and interest in possession trusts).
Michael works closely with the firm’s Partners assisting in a wide range of matters relating to the management of vulnerable adults’ finances and affairs. He is also regularly instructed to make applications to the Court of Protection.
Michael is a Full Member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers and a STEP.
Michael is a Legal 500 Recommended Lawyer (2024).
