Catherine O’Reilly
Catherine is a Senior Associate in the Family and Matrimonial team, where she has extensive experience in divorce and the financial issues arising from relationship breakdown.
Catherine’s particular area of expertise is the complex financial aspects arising from divorce and separation for medium to High Net Worth clients, with experience in matters including trusts, inherited wealth, private limited companies and complex pension assets. She also advises in relation to pre and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements and separation agreements.
Catherine has been praised by her clients for her attention to detail and approachable manner. She focuses on helping her clients to attain their goals in a cost-conscious and pragmatic fashion. Catherine takes pride in her ability to take a practical but sensitive approach to accomplish an outcome which prioritises a client’s individual objectives as well as providing a long-term solution.

Graduating from the University of St Andrews with an MA (Hons) in Classics in 2004, Catherine then completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, graduating with LLB(Hons) in 2011. Catherine trained with IBB, qualifying in 2014.
