Working at IBB Law: Hear from Jacqueline Almond, Partner and Head of Wills, Trusts & Probate.
IBB Law is not your average law firm. This is one in a series of videos where we speak to members of staff at different stages of their careers and their IBB Law journey to find out what it is about IBB Law that makes them enthusiastic about working here and continuing to develop their careers in their respective areas of law with IBB Law.
In this video, we speak to Jacqueline Almond, Partner and Head of the Wills, Trusts and Probate team.
Jacqueline started her legal career with IBB Law in 1995 and has been with the firm for 27 years, becoming Partner 6-7 years after qualifying. Jacqueline reflects on how the firm has evolved during her time, from the type of work to the size, strength and expertise within teams. Jacqueline has helped develop the Court of Protection and Trust work, which we are recognised in the Legal Directories for.
When asked why she hasn’t left IBB in all these years, Jacqueline comments “on balance, this has always been the best option – the location, the ability to work flexibly, the work that I do, the clients, I really really do enjoy working with the clients that I have. In my area of work in particular, you get to know them really well, they know as much about me and my family as I know about theirs, and they become friends in some cases”.
Jacqueline is recognised in the Chambers and Partners 2023 directory as a Top Ranked Individual in our High Net Worth practice and is a Recommended Individual in our Court of Protection practice. Jacqueline is also recognised in the Legal 500 2023 directory as a Leading Individual in our Top Tier Personal Tax, Trusts & Probate practice.
