Vicky Preece Shortlisted for Solicitor Advocate of the Year

IBB Solicitors is proud to announce that Vicky Preece, senior solicitor in the childcare team, has been shortlisted in the Law Society’s Excellence Awards 2017 in the category of ‘Solicitor Advocate of the Year’.

Vicky has been a Family Lawyer since qualifying in 2002, and has specialised in Childcare Law since becoming a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel in 2007. She has a particular interest in representing vulnerable clients and children. Vicky undertakes her own advocacy in all levels of the Family Court and appeared in the Court of Appeal in the reported case Re T-B-N B4/2016/1516. She has been recognised by both the Judiciary and her peers for the quality of her advocacy.

The Law Society’s Excellence Awards recognise the commitment, enthusiasm and passion that solicitors dedicate to serving their clients.

The Society’s president Joe Egan said, “The awards showcase the first rate work and dedication of the profession to their clients and the wider community”.

The shortlist was announced on the third of August. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, hosted by BBC Radio 4 Today programme presenter Mishal Husain, on the 19th of October at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel in London.
