Theatrical celebration of summer plays
IBB Solicitors West London loaned the picturesque grounds of their private client office in Chesham to Chesham Theatre Company at the end of June for open air picnic performances of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ and ‘Alice in Wonderland’.
IBB started their celebrations with Pimms, canapés and an exclusive preview performance of Oscar Wilde’s ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ for 150 of their guests who sat by the lake for an evening of culture under the stars. The production was held in full period costume and professionally lit.
Merrin Molesworth, Chesham Town Mayor and Gillian Outram, Head of IBB’s Private Client Group, declared the week of picnic theatre open by offering a free prize draw and releasing 500 pink and blue balloons at the start of the performance. Gillian Outram commented “We are delighted to loan the use of the grounds and see it as part of our ongoing commitment to being at the heart of the community”.
