Residential Development team exchanges on multi-million pound development
IBB Chesham Solicitors acting on behalf of Lands Improvement Holdings plc, has recently exchanged an unconditional contract for the sale of part of a former brickworks at Clanway Farm, Stoke on Trent, to Bloor Homes.
The 56 acre brownfield site, which has an end value of £84m, has detailed planning permission for 395 residential units and a ‘village’ centre featuring shops and leisure facilities.
Vivien Rimmer, lead partner for IBB, comments, “This was a complex transaction which we exchanged within two weeks and the technical expertise of those involved and advance preparation enabled both parties to achieve an excellent outcome in this significant regeneration project for the area.”
IBB’s client, Lands Improvement, will be developing the community and retail facilities within the project.
