IBB Solicitors wins Legal 500 Regional Real Estate Firm of the Year award

IBB Solicitors has won a major accolade in being named as the country’s best regional Real Estate practice of the year by Legal 500, the leading independent guide to the legal profession.

This is a significant award for IBB and recognises the quality and expertise of the firm’s Real Estate practice and the service it offers to clients.

IBB saw off stiff competition to win the award. One law firm in each region is shortlisted for their outstanding contribution to a particular area of law, including the Real Estate arena. These are selected following many months of thorough research for the annual rankings. The overall winner is then crowned the national champion.

Legal 500’s UK editor, John Read, said: “Legal 500’s awards are different to others in the sector, in that they are awarded to the firms who have most impressed the research team for The Legal 500 rankings. Legal 500 conducts interviews to pinpoint the most capable, expert teams operating at the top of their sectors. Partners in the group were singled out as:

• while the property litigation team ‘can compete with any Magic Circle firm in this area’, with Andrew Olins cited as ‘a fearsome litigator’ and Jon Mowbray ‘excellent at devising commercial solutions’

The team advises on a diverse range of matters and understands the wide range of challenges faced by property developers, investors, occupiers and lenders.
