IBB Promotes Four Partners
IBB Uxbridge Solicitors has promoted 4 senior solicitors to the partnership in the largest promotional round for the South East firm in the last four years. The four new partners are: Jeff Elphee, Commercial Development & Construction; Jon Mowbray, Real Estate Dispute Resolution; Joanne Gibbons, Crime; and Paul Murray, Childcare. This takes the number of IBB partners up to 33.
IBB also recruited four partners last year, mainly from City firms, including Berwin Leighton Paisner and Taylor Wessing. Managing Partner Steven Booth comments, “The promotions are just reward for hard work and talent. Our new partners are excellent ambassadors for the firm.”
The past 18 months have seen a period of concerted growth for IBB as a whole with expansion into new commercial offices to accommodate growing legal teams.
Jeff Elphee, Commercial Development & Construction Jeff joined IBB in 2004 from S J Berwin. He has extensive experience in real estate with particular expertise in the retail, industrial and office sectors. He acts for a number of significant funds and developer clients.
Jon Mowbray, Real Estate Dispute Resolution Jon joined IBB in 2005 from Lovells. He has expertise in acting on heavyweight property disputes worth up to £30m and regularly presents seminars and writes legal articles for magazines.
Joanne Gibbons, Crime Joanne has extensive experience in criminal law with expertise in court advocacy. She also handles the franchising requirements for the Legal Services Commission. She joined IBB in 2001.
Paul Murray, Childcare Paul is a Childcare specialist who regularly acts for children, parents and local authorities in both care and private law matters. He has extensive experience of complex injury and sexual abuse cases.
