IBB Law LLP sees record number of lawyers Ranked by Chambers and Partners

Chambers and Partners, the leading guide to UK solicitors has today announced its 2022 legal rankings. IBB Law has achieved a ranking in 10 practice areas, with 5 Top Ranked teams: Construction, Crime, PI: Claimant, Real Estate and Real Estate Litigation. Individual Rankings were awarded to 18 solicitors, including ‘Star Individual‘ for John Milner and 5 ‘Top ranked’ partners.

Banking and Finance

Gemma Coles achieved an ‘Up and Coming partner’ ranking for the first time in the 2022 guide. Described by Chambers & Partners as:

Gemma Coles of IBB Law is noted for her increasing presence on financing matters in the real estate sector.

Construction

IBB’s award winning Construction team retains it ‘Top Ranked’ status in 2022, with partners Paul Brampton and Steven Hayward both achieving individual rankings. The team is described by Chambers & Partners as:

Respected construction group acting for developers, contractors and a number of well-known corporates on the full range of transactional and contentious matters. Particularly adept at representing major clients in the UK housing sector.

Top Ranked partner Paul Brampton is described as:

Corporate M&A

Adam Dowdney is once again names as a ‘Top Ranked’ partner and Harriet Jones is also ranked, for the first time, in the 2022 guide. A client of IBB Law said this if Harriet:

Crime

IBB Law’s Criminal Defence and Financial Crime(White-Collar Crime) teams have once again been recognised for their strength in the region. The Criminal Defence Team has been Top Ranked for many years and retains that honour in the 2022 guide.

John Milner, who heads up IBB’s Financial Crime team has been awarded the Star Individual Ranking for The Regions – one of only three lawyers to achieve that ranking. Chambers describes John as:

Ranked as one of the leading firms in the Thames Valley, the team is described as “Experienced in handling the full range of matters for an extensive client base from a range of industries including manufacturing, education, technology and charities, acting for both claimants and defendants. Particularly adept at handling large-scale and sometimes cross-border projects.” Top Ranked partner  Justin Govier is described as:

Team lead Richard Devall retains his Ranked Lawyer status.

Family

IBB’s Family and Matrimonial team has achieved a great result in the 2020 guide, with a team and two individual rankings for Amanda Melton and Jolene Hutchison.

Jolene was described by the directory as:

Litigation

Partner Sarah Jackson is recognised alongside fellow partner Paul Kite as Ranked Individuals. Paul Kite retains his Top Ranked status once again.

Personal Injury

Top Ranked  as one of the strongest PI teams in the region, the team led by Malcolm Underhill also achieved a Top Ranked status for Underhill and a Ranked Lawyer recognition for Senior Solicitor Simon Pimlott.

Real Estate

IBB’s Commercial Property teams achieved two Top Ranked firm awards for Real Estate and Real Estate Litigation in the region. Partners Andrew Olins, Jon Mowbray and Vivien Rimmer are all individually Ranked  lawyers.
