IBB Appoints New Real Estate Partner And Group Head

IBB Solicitors is delighted to announce the appointment of a new partner and group head to the real estate team.

Bill Bidder brings a specialism in commercial real estate, planning, local government and urban regeneration.

He has in-depth experience of high-value complex transactions involving freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, preparation of long-term strategic option agreements, joint ventures, collaboration agreements and complex infrastructure documentation, including affordable housing requirements. He has acted on behalf of nationally known plc residential property developers, a leading nationally known charity and local authorities.

Bill joins IBB from Speechly Bircham, where he had been a partner since 2009 after it merged with Campbell Hooper, where he had been since 2003. Prior to that, Bill spent six years as Legal Director and Company Secretary at Taylor Woodrow.

Bill says, “I was attracted to IBB by the particular strengths of the residential development team, and am very much looking forward to playing a part in extending IBB’s presence in the market place and complementing the work already being done by the firm in building a reputation as a leading firm in this sector.”

Also joining IBB from Speechly Bircham is Christian Le Gouais. Christian has worked closely with Bill for a number of years and joins as a senior solicitor.
