Badger madness in IBB Solicitors’ back garden
A BBC presenter and TV crew accompanied badger expert, Chris Packham, to The Bury in Chesham, home to IBB Solicitors to help the legal team with their 300-year lawn, which has been invaded by badgers.
In October 2008, IBB West London Solicitors noticed some unusual badger activity on its ancient and beautiful lawns. The firm’s gardener, Chris Edwards, investigated a number of options over the months, from electric fences, barricades, pesticides and some more alternative natural solutions.
Eventually, with summer coming and IBB’s back garden and lawns being out of action for client and IBB events as well as the local theatre group, Gillian Outram, a Partner from the Private Client team appealed to the local media for help in finding a solution.
Along with a number of excellent ideas supplied by interested clients and friends, a BBC researcher picked up the story and, came to the Bury to film the firms back garden and lawn, the damage caused by the badgers.
