Mithun Rabheru Named Young Property Person of the Year
Mithun Rabheru was among 18 winners revealed during a gala evening of celebrations at the Black Ox 2021 Thames Valley Property Awards at the Pavilion, Ascot Racecourse, on 9 December.
Mithun is a Senior Associate in IBB Law’s Residential Development Team within one of the largest Real Estate legal teams in the Region.
Mithun was shortlisted having acted for a range of large FTSE-listed housebuilders, housing associations, local authorities, regional and national property developers, landowners and institutional investors on high-value and complex site acquisition matters for residential and mixed-use developments. Mithun has worked on more than 98 deals in the last 12 months with a gross development value of more than £90 million.
Mithun is highly regarded in the residential development sector and the team. He is steadily strengthening his trusted advisor status with a number of high-profile blue-chip clients including Bellway Homes Limited, Persimmon Homes Limited, Thrive Homes Limited and Aquinna Homes Plc and others.
Mithun said of his win:
All the finalists were very strong so I am very humbled and honoured to win. In a transaction, for me, it is about reminding everyone that we are working towards common goals, not against each other, so both parties are happy and get the result they are after. I try and achieve a smooth process by understanding people, what they want and how best I can help them achieve it. I’ve been involved with the affordable housing sector pretty much since I qualified. There’s a shortage of housing so affordable housing is so important.
Joanna DeBiase, Managing Partner of IBB Law commented:
I am very pleased that Mithun has been recognised for his excellent work in the residential property development sector. We have one of the largest Real Estate teams in the southeast and nothing gives me greater pleasure than to be part of the development of the next generation of up and coming talented lawyers. Well done to Mithun and the team.
