IBB Law LLP recognised at Thames Valley Deal Awards

IBB Law LLP were the winners of two awards at the 2022 Thames Valley Deal Awards – Law Firm of the Year and Partner Adam Dowdney won Lawyer of the Year.

The Law Firm of the Year Award is presented to a firm that has completed a number of interesting and complex deals in the Thames Valley market. IBB’s work with a variety of exciting clients twinned with positive client feedback helped clinch the award ahead of an impressive list of competitors. During the qualifying period, IBB worked on thirty deals with a total value circa £500m.

The Lawyer of the Year Award is presented to the legal advisor that has had the most significant impact on deal completions in Reading and the wider Thames Valley. Adam heads up the Deal Team in the Thames Valley for IBB. Adam was shortlisted having worked for a range of deals ranging from £2 million to £100 million, including advising the Shareholders of Bellstan Limited on the sale of the entire issued share capital in the company, to WJ South Limited.

Adam said this of his win:

I am very proud to have won this award and am extremely lucky to have such a wonderful team behind me and thank them for all the efforts that have contributed to this. We have all worked very hard and have been very supportive of each other, it is great to be part of such a collaborative team. I firmly believe that the broad range of deals we have worked on, in a wide variety of sectors and with a significant range of values makes us unique in what we can offer to the Thames Valley region.
