IBB Law Advises on the Sale of Arrow Country Holdings Limited to Bunzl Holdings LCE Limited
IBB recently advised the shareholders of Arrow County Holdings Limited (Arrow) and its subsidiary Arrow County Supplies Limited, on the sale of Arrow to Bunzl Holding LCE Limited, part of Bunzl plc (Bunzl).
The IBB team consisted of Adam Dowdney, Partner, Joseph Jarvis, Senior Associate, Anisa Sula, Solicitor and Melody Shih, Trainee Solicitor, in the Corporate Commercial Team, Nicola O’Dwyer, Legal Director and Navprit Kingra, Trainee Solicitor in the Employment Team and Gemma Coles, Partner in Commercial Property Team.
Arrow has more than 45 years’ experience in supplying products to the cleaning and janitorial industry across a wide variety of end market sectors. The company has a very strong and sustainable supply chain and has relationships with 427 suppliers across 16 countries worldwide.
Arrow represents an exciting opportunity for Bunzl to partner with the existing management team led by Bruce Blackledge (shareholder and managing director of Arrow) who will play a key part in leading the continued growth of the business and embrace Bunzl’s highly decentralised model whereby business strategy continues to be conducted at the operating company level post-acquisition.
Bunzl was selected by the Blackledge family because of its extensive experience in helping organisations through strategic change and its ability to support Arrow to continue its geographical expansion.
