Second injunction for website owner

The owner of a controversial website has been served with a second interim injunction preventing him from publishing defamatory material about a lawyer.

Rick Kordowski, owner of website Solicitors From Hell, was served with the order by Mr Justice Tugendhat less than a month after a similar order was granted against him by Mr Justice Edwards-Stewart on September 23.

The latest order was granted to solicitor Juliet Farrall. Mr Justice Tugendhat said the words of which she complained, when printed out, covered three pages and included allegations that she was "downright crooked".

There is a lack of detail concerning the date, place or other circumstances surrounding Ms Farrall's alleged actions and the author of the material was not identified.

Ms Farrall denied all the allegations and claimed that Mr Kordowski made no effort to verify the truth of what appeared on the website or ask her for comments before the material was published.
