Reclaiming Power of Attorney Fees – the deadline is looming!

Anyone who  paid to register their Lasting Power of Attorney or Enduring Power of Attorney between 1 April 2013 and 31 March 2017  will have been charged too much as the fees were set too high.  The fee should have covered the operating cost and therefore those who submitted applications between those dates are entitled to a refund.  The deadline set for reclaiming is 31 January.

Figures published by Money Saving Expert claims that there are still 1.3 million people who have yet to claim the refund.  If you are one of those, act fast, as the deadline is on Sunday.
