Pitt And Jolie ‘Work Out Pre-Nup’
While known for his romantic side, it would appear Brad Pitt is practical too, with the Hollywood star allegedly working out a pre-nuptial agreement with fiancee Angelina Jolie. According to reports, the stars, who have both been married before, have drawn up a 101-page document protecting their combined fortune of £200 million. It apparently states that Brad will hold on to his £110 million pot, while Angelina will keep her £90 million assets, if the couple ever chose to go their separate ways. Although seen as controversial, many couples think pre- and post-nuptial agreements are practical and sensible and a good way to protect current and future assets.
Talk to family law specialists about the best way to arrange a pre-nuptial agreement. As for Brad and Angelina, a source revealed to Grazia: “Angelina has always been a bit reluctant about having a pre-nup but Brad persuaded her it’s for the best. He’s a romantic guy, but also very practical, and given they’re worth £200 million between them, with six children and a lot of property across the globe, it definitely makes sense. “Both Brad and Angelina have been married before so they know how messy a divorce can get. It’s even more important this time because there are children involved and Brad wants them to cover all eventualities.”
Rumours suggest the loved-up pair could walk down the aisle in Hawaii, believed to a favourite spot of Angelina’s late mother, Marcheline Bertrand. A source told the publication: “Hawaii means that her mother can be a part of a small ceremony on her favourite beach. Then the main event will be a wintery-themed bash in France with all of their closest friends and family. Everyone, especially the children, is very excited. They love the idea of a Christmas wedding at their French home, Chateau Miraval, with a big roaring fire and lots of festive decorations.”
