Katie Price settles second divorce

Former glamour model Jordan – or Katie Price – has divorced Alex Reid due to his “unreasonable behaviour” in what is thought to be a high value settlement.

A High Court judge in London granted the businesswoman a decree nisi in a hearing which lasted just seconds. Neither Price nor her second husband attended the proceedings, which were led by District Judge Anne Aitken.

The pair tied the knot in Las Vegas two years ago just after Reid – a cagefighter – finished a Celebrity Big Brother stint. They had been together for about seven months when they got married. Last January, Price, 33, confirmed her separation from Reid.

The divorce document was laid out in a question and answer style in which the mother-of-three was asked whether her husband, Alex Aristides Reid’s, behaviour was continuing. She responded by putting a cross in the “yes” box. There was no further information in the now-public documents which specified how Reid was behaving unreasonably.

No prenuptial agreement was signed by the pair before they married, meaning they will have to decide how they split their finances. Price is thought to be worth £30 million, and is said to have rejected Reid’s request for £1 million. He is reported to have changed his demand to £700,000.
