IBB Solicitors Announces the Appointment of Its First Female Managing Partner
IBB Solicitors (IBB) is pleased to announce that Joanna DeBiase has been appointed Managing Partner. She succeeds Steven Booth who takes up the newly created role of Senior Partner. Both appointments are effective from 1 May 2016.
Senior Partner Steven Booth said:

Female leaders in the legal sector
A recent survey conducted by the Managing Partners' Forum, revealed that women hold only 16% of chief executive posts. However calls have been made to increase the target to 40%.
IBB Solicitors has long been an advocate of recognising the contribution of talented women in the legal sector and beyond.
Today is International Women’s Day, and it seems a fitting occasion to share IBB’s commitment to female parity. The aim of this event is to celebrate the “the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.”
Joanna DeBiase
Joanna DeBiase became a Partner at IBB in 2009. In her current role as Operations Partner and Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) she has been instrumental in ensuring that the firm’s management and operational processes develop in-line with industry best practice.
In her role of Managing Partner, Joanna will be responsible for implementing IBB’s new business plan and strategic vision to ensure IBB maintains and builds upon its position as West London’s leading law firm.
